Nations become nations as a result of historical and social events that human communities have gone through for many years and that have deeply affected those communities.
Literary genres that tell the stories of the events that affected that community in verse during this process are called epics.
These are generally oral and were later written down.
The Turkish Nation is one of the oldest nations in known history.
That is why it has a very diverse and numerous epics.
In this work, we have prepared twelve epics that are known by almost everyone in a language that our children can understand.
We aimed for our children, who are our future, to learn Turkish epics and the historical (wars, heroism) and social (creation, descent, migration) events that these epics tell and to know their nation closely.
Because; Epics are the cornerstones of nations.
A nation without a solid foundation will inevitably disappear in the historical process.
