My travels, which began in May 1991, lasted for ten years without interruption.
During these ten years, I left no place unvisited in the vast Turkish geography we call the "Turkish World."
I got to know the "Turkish nationalist" intellectuals and service-ready young people of each region.
When the subject was Turkishness, we had long and interesting conversations with them.
We talked about the past, present and future.
I didn't want these conversations to remain with me, so I wrote down what I remembered from them to leave a note in history.
That was the first purpose of my writing.
My second purpose was to remind our compatriots who had been in Soviet Russia for over eighty years, whose freedoms were restricted and who were forced to forget their Turkishness, that they were Turkish, and to introduce the "Turkish World Research Foundation", established with the aim of introducing Turks living in other places, and to introduce the services pr Show More
