Muhaddere Nabi Özerdim (1915-1991) is the first sinologist, or China scientist, of our country.
He worked on Sino-Turkish relations, Chinese history, religions, etc. from 1935, when he entered the Faculty of Language, History and Geography, until his retirement in 1991.
