Müntehabü't-Tevarih-İ Mu'İni (İskender Anonimi)
Mu'ineddin Natanzi's translated work titled Muntahabü't-Tevârîh-i Mu'înî is one of the reliable historical sources written during the Timurid period.
The work mainly has the character of general history.
There are four known copies of the work.
Jean Aubin published the work taking into account the copy in France and added the parts that are present in the London copy but not in the French copy to the end of the work.
Natanzi first dedicated his book to Timur's grandson, Emir-zâde İskender.
After the death of Emir-zâde İskender, he revised his work and presented it to Timur's son, Şahruh Bahadır.
Natanzi published his work eight years after Nizameddin Şami's Zafernâme and in the name of Şerafeddin Ali He wrote it twelve years before Yazdi's Zafername.
Natanzi's work, unlike both Zafernames, is an unofficial and independent version of Timurid history and is an extremely important work.
