The Armenian Committees' Actions and Revolutionary Operations presents the official view of the Turkish State on the Armenian issue and, based on documents, expresses the atrocities committed by the Armenian committees with their organizations before and after the Constitutional Monarchy.
The work is referred to as the Red Book in official correspondence.
The collected documents were compiled into a book by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but the approval of the Army was sought beforehand.
The first edition of the book was published in 1916, the second in 1917, and it was translated into French and published in Istanbul the same year.
We made this translation based on the second edition.
Subsequently, during the revision phase, we compared it with two previous translations, especially in the reading of Armenian place and person names.
