Islam Magazine is a Turkish nationalist magazine that published 63 issues during the First World War (1914-1918).
It is known that the magazine aimed to reconcile Turkist thought with Islam and that it was published in order to clarify the attitudes of Turkish nationalists towards Islam, who were criticized by the Islamists of the period.
The magazine argues that the truths of Islam are being veiled by elements alien to it and are being corrupted and that, in fact, Islam is open, progressive and vibrant.
Except for two issues (47 and 48), every issue of Islam Magazine.
has a section titled The Holy Quran at the beginning.
Under this heading, Baqarah, Âl-i Imran and Nisa.
All of the Surahs, some of Surah Maidah, and other Surahs and verses have been translated or interpreted.
This publication is also the pioneer of the Turkish translation and interpretation studies that will be carried out in the republican period.
