From the Preface....
.
Prison and prison poems have a special place in human life..
He himself is in prison; those who have blood and heart ties are outside....
The prisoner suffers between four walls and counts the days.
If those outside find meaning in life with the prisoner, their suffering is no different.
Longing boils the blood in the veins of both sides.
It makes the strings of the heart ache.
He opens his dreams to the vastness..
The prisoner carries hope..
The prisoner pours his hope into poetry, into a folk song, into the saz....
In the verses of the poem, in the chorus of the folk song, in the strings of the saz, there is "prison", there is "prisoner", there is "roof", there is "convict", there is "case", there is "court"...
Some entered for personal reasons, some for the love of the country....
Lutfü Kireçci, a country is a lover.
He risked his life for the integrity of the country.
