Eski Türk Filolojisine Giriş
In the book "Introduction to Old Turkic Philology", the first two literary periods of Turkish literature, Köktürk and Old Uyghur literatures, are introduced. This introduction is supported by providing grammar, dictionary and script information about Old Turkic under various sections along with selected reading passages.
Knowing Turkish language and literature with its history begins with learning "Old Turkic".
With this motto, the first period of Turkish written language, the initial language of Old Turkic literature, the foundation of the Turkish language and its starting point in literature, "Old Turkic" is described from a philological perspective and by giving a basic introductory information on the subject, the important place of Old Turkic in the history of Turkish language and literature is emphasized.
