He was born in 1950 in Sarıdanışmanlı Village of Kadirli.
He went to primary and secondary school in Kadirli.
He came into contact with the Nationalists Association in secondary school.
He became acquainted with the magazines and books published by Atsız in those years.

He studied at Mersin Teacher Training School for two years (1964-1966) and was selected among the successful students to Ankara Higher Teacher Training School.
While he was a student at Ankara Higher Teacher Training School Preparatory High School (1967-1968), he joined the idealist movement.
He was one of the founders and first active members of the Board of Directors of Ankara Idealist Hearths Union along with Kürşat Özkan, İbrahim Doğan, Zeki Göncü, Ramazan Ceylan (Mirzaoğlu), Mehmet Keleş (Göktolga), İsmet Tuncer, Ali Güngör and Ramiz Ongun.
