The Cyprus issue is a "national cause".

It closely concerns the freedom, sovereignty and security of the entire nation.

Knowing the Cyprus cause well, explaining it properly to our brothers in Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and embracing it should be the primary duties of the rulers of two brotherly states, the true intellectuals of both states, and the civil society organizations.

As the great leader, soldier and statesman Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, soberly expressed, let us never give up our struggle for "PEACE AT HOMELAND, PEACE IN THE WORLD", but let us not forget that there are those around us who do not think like us, and we must be vigilant.

If we do not learn and teach our history correctly, if we do not raise the awareness of our people and especially our youth, others will succeed in their efforts to create a perception against us for their own interests and to turn this into an actual gain.
