Hüseyinzade Ali Bey, who is not sufficiently known in our Turkey but is one of the greatest scholars and intellectuals in the history of Turkish thought and modernity, is from Azerbaijan.

A journalist, writer, translator and thinker who emerged during the Russian occupation of Azerbaijan and other Turkish territories, was a member of the team that initiated the awakening struggle of the Turkish nation and the Eastern Muslim peoples and managed to become one of the torch bearers of the Turkish enlightenment.

As one of the greatest intellectuals of the path of enlightenment and liberation that began with Mirza Feteli Akhundov, he left his name indelibly etched in Turkish history.
