If humanity is experiencing an age of crisis today, it is because people are living a life far removed from the Prophets whom Allah (swt) sent as doctors to humanity. Because all Prophets were sent to convey the principles of Tawhid, Prophethood, Resurrection, and Justice. In this sense, the common duties of the Prophets can be summarized as "to introduce Allah (swt) to people, to teach them the rules of faith and the forms of worship they received from Allah, to instill in people moral virtues and good habits, to regulate the relations between people and societies within the most just measures, and to guide people to the right path in all material and spiritual areas." Our Lord has clearly explained to us why He sent the Prophets in the following verse: "(We sent) the Messengers as bringers of good news and warners, so that people would have no excuse against Allah after the Messengers. Allah is Mighty, Wise."
