Proto-Turkish History, for some reason, was erased from Turkish History after the great leader Mustafa Kemal.
Proto-Turkish History was forgotten.
The biggest reason for this was nothing more than the efforts of Russian and Western historians to claim and prove that there was no Turkish History.
Unfortunately, our historians who tried to write history by looking at them were no less than them, and therefore Proto-Turkish History was erased from the memory of the nation.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, historians of the new Turkic states who were looking for themselves began intensive research on Proto-Turkish History.
And works on Proto-Turkish History were published one after another.
Among these historians, the works of Yunus Oğuz, one of the hard-working and productive historians of the younger generation, were met with interest as they showed that there was a vast Proto-Turkish History beyond what we know.
